TRS leader and Sircilla MLA K Tarakarama Rao got respite on Friday in a Contempt of the Court case with regard to TNGOs’ Housing Society case.
It may be recalled that KTR had made some remarks against the case when the Court ordered the State government to conduct an inquiry into then TNGOs’ president Swamy Goud’s alleged involvement in illegal activities of the Housing Society.
High Court Justice C V Nagarjuna Reddy took KTR’s remarks serious and ordered the Registry to inquire into the issue. The High Court Bench presided over by Chief Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghosh dismissed the petition prepared by the Registry following the orders of Justice C V Nagarjuna Reddy.
