Synopsis:

Yeto Vellipoindhi Manasu is the story of Varun and Nitya who were close to each other since their childhood. The strong bond between them grew as the grow older. Finally, when they get closer, Varun gets strangled in the family responsibilities and had to move away from Nitya. Ego, ignornace creeps in between them and finally they part ways. And the rest of the story is how they realize they can not live with out each other and finally unite.

How they performed?

The role of Varun is a cake walk character for Nani. He plays the role of a simple boy who struggles in life unable to choose between Love, Parents and Career. He manages to come up with a subtle performance as demanded by the character. Samantha plays the role of Nitya, a Psychology student who later dedicates to help Tsunami affected people. Her role was very much similar to that of Jessie in Yem Maaya Chesave. She looked beautiful and serene. She had shown enough maturity in portraying a role of confused girl.

Krishnudu gets a similar role of Hero's friend in this movie too and managed few laughs from the audience. Rest of the characters are as required.

Technical Performance:

Post the success of Yem Maaya Chesave, much is expected from Gautam Menon's movies but the director does not seem to have come out of that frenzy. The look and mood of Yeto Vellipoindhi Manasu is almost similar to that of Yem Maya Chesave. Audience can correlate few of the characters in both the movies too. He had chosen a youthful subject to connect with the current generation but failed to make most of it with uneven narration. The screen play seem to be boring and the songs appear to come very quickly at odd times disturbing the flow of the movie.

The music rendered by Ilayaraja is awesome as always and blended properly in to the movie. There were some beautiful moments in which the rerecording had enhanced the mood of the scene. Cinematography by MS Prabhu is good with some excellent locations. Editing is below par.

Final Say:

The entire movie goes on at snail pace testing the patience of the audience.  The expectations on the movie are on a rage and people are expecting another Yem Maya Chesave from Gautam Menon. But magic can not created always. The movie does not have any real entertainment to bind audience in to their seats. I would not call it a bad movie but certainly not up to the mark. You can watch it if you have nothing to do this weekend!

Why did she go for Breast Implants?

Controversial Pakistani Model cum actress Veena Mallik boasts of daring to go any where as per the demand of her movie scripts. Be it skin show or hot sex scenes. But this time, the sultry siren has gone a step ahead. She has done silicon breast implants for her upcoming movie "Mumbai 125Km" 3D.

The first look poster of the movie was recently released. The poster of the film shows her in a very seducing avatar, half nude flaunting her artificial assets. The movie titled ‘Mumbai 125 KM’ is being directed by Hemanth Madukar. He has earlier made ‘Vasthadu Na Raju’ starring Vishnu. Mani Sharma has produced the movie.  The movie shooting is complete and is currently undergoing post production works. The movie is being planned for January 1st week release.

Badminton Beauty raring to try her luck in films

Jwala Gutta, the badminton star is Eying on telugu film industry. The buzz around tollywood from the past few years is that she might make her  debute into film industry.Now, the latest buzz is that she is keen on telugu film industry and she is likely to announce her retirement anytime soon.

She attended an event in Hyderabad today and spoke at length about her Tollywood acting dreams. She confirmed that she'd definitely put make up on her face pretty soon. "All I am waiting for right launch pad. Good script and director is all I need, though many were offered films," she said. Jwala wishes to be paired opposite Prabhas sometime. She admires him and is his big fan she added.

Karthi becomes 'Aatalo Arati Pandu'?

This Sankranthi is going to be more crowdy in Telugu than any of the recent times. Ram Charan's Nayak, Mahesh and Venkatesh's multistarer movie, Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu are locking horns with each other to have their chunk in the Sankranthi collections. And now one more movie had entered the race, it is Karthi's Bad Boy.

Karthi's latest Tamil movie, Alex Pandian is being dubbed in to Telugu under the title 'Bad Boy'. The movie is all set for a grand release on January 12th,  Suraj has yielded megaphone for this movie. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for this film. Bad Boy is produced by KE Gnanavelraja under the banner Studio Green. Studio Green is releasing the movie on their own in Telugu.

But analysts feel that Karthi will just remain as Aatalo Arati Pandu between these biggies.

Pawan Kalyan says NO to Sampath Nandi?

It was earlier told in the media that  Power star Pawan Kalyan and Director Sampath Nandi are signed for a new film, which will be produced by NTV CEO Sharat Maror. Initially when director Sampath approached Pawan Kalyan for a new film, Power star agreed to work with him and asked him to come up with a full script.

Now the latest news is that recently the director met the actor and narrated the story. As per the sources the movie has been shelved because the Pawan Kalayan doesn’t like the story and the script. So, as of now Sampath Nandi will not be directing Pawan Kalyan.

Dabangg 3 will be a prequel

Bollywood Big Man Salman Khan is on a promotional spree of his next movie, Dabangg 2. On one such occasion, Sallu Bhai had revealed that the third edition of the movie is ready too. Dabangg 3, will deal with how Chulbul Pandey, the kind hearted corrupt cop becomes Chulbul Pandey. So 'Dabangg 3' will be a prequel However, the third edition will only take form if the second one becomes a hit.

" Dabangg", released in 2012, was directed by Abhinav Kashyap. It featured Salman and then debutant Sonakshi Sinha in the lead. "Dabangg 2", has been produced as well as directed by his younger brother Arbaaz. The film, featuring Prakash Raj as the villain, releases Dec 21.

Shankar Rao's sudden love for NTR

Former Handloom and Textiles Minister Dr P Shankar Rao, demanded that NTR be honoured with Bharat Ratna award for his services to cinema and society. This surprised many at a time when even NTR's own family members were fighting hard for the credit for installing statue of their party founder at parliament hall.

Nandamuri Tarakarama Rao, also fondly referred to as NTR, was an important state leader and the founder of Telugu Desam Party (TDP). He had won the hearts of millions with his remarkable acting skills through cinema and turned out to be the most popular leader of the state. He had introduced novel
ideas like rice at Rs. 2 per kg. But it is being doubted that his successors will be able to bring the long-awaiting Bharat Ratna to NTR.

All of them, including his wife Lakshmi Parvati and his daughter Daggubati Purandeshwar, are currently involved in a dispute pertaining to the credit for installation of NTR’s statute in the Parliament premises. In the midst of this dispute, it seems unlikely the family is even interested in claiming Bharat Ratna for the great leader. The need of the hour is that all of them join hands to focus on a more important issue of Bharat Ratna rather than quarrelling over such trivialities.

Esha's Tattoo Mantra enrages devotees

Having been asked to remove her tattoo several times by several people, Esha Deol’s tattoo got noticed again, this time at Tirumala. Bollywood female actor Esha Deol had visited the Tirumala shrine with her mother Hema Malini, the dream girl of Bollywood to offer their prayers. During the visit, a tattoo etched onEsha Deol’s back became visible as she had donned a low-back blouse. The tattoo is of Gayatri Mantra in Sanskrit and this upset the people present there. Some people remarked that she had not removed this tattoo though she was asked to do this long time ago.

The actor defended herself by reportedly stating that she need not seek permission to get a tattoo of her choice and liking. This is not the first instance when the celebrities have been involved in such tussle between their choices and preferences and the strong opinions of the tradition lovers. Most times, it is the dress which the celebrities chose to wear to religious places that upsets certain section of the society. Despite being constantly reminded to follow the line of tradition and culture, they fail to do so and end up creating controversies and irking the society.

Asin disappoints her fan

The petite Tollywood female actor Asin is definitely bowled over by her fan as he has gifted her an apartment but disappointed her by not accepting it. Asin was recently in Bangalore to promote her latest Bollywood film Khiladi 786, in which she is paired opposite Akshay Kumar. Her ardent fan, who had been stalking her, came to the hotel where she was staying and informed her that he had bought an apartment for her. Shocked Asin politely refusedto accept the gift as she felt doing otherwise would not be a correct thing to do. However, she felt humbled to receive this sort of appreciation and love from her fans.

Seemandhra stars JP,Lagadapati's battle over Hyd

Telangana fighters always brand Vijayawada MP Lagadapati and even to some extend Jaya Prakash Nayarayan of Lok Satta as staunch seemandhra supporters. However both of them are now engaged in bitter battle over Hyderabad and Telangana much to the delight of telangana supporters. The recent statement of the MP from Vijaywada Lagadapati Rajagopal on Hyderabad Seemandhraites have become quite controversial. The statement was condemned by the Loksatta Convernor Jayaprakash Narayana.

Rajagopal had recently stated in one of his speeches that people belonging from Seemandhra regions,who are currently residing at Hyderabad, would be unsafe, if the demand for Telangana as a separate state was granted.Jayaprakash Narayana, who is also the MLA from Kukatpalli, was talking about the issue of politicsalong the caste-lines and emotional issues being raised as political issues. He urged the need to shift the focus on politics based on reason, which is effected through political participation. He expressed his disappointment at the controversial statement of Lagadapati and held it to be an example of
inducement of fear. JP was supporting the Press Council Chairman Justice Markandaya Katju who recently remarked that the majority population in Inida still voted along caste and communal lines.

However, JP, as is Jayaprakash Narayana also called, did not have encouraging words to say for the Telangana movement. He was of the view that the statement of the Telangana movement that the people of Telangana have been looted by the people of Seemandhra only led to aggravation of resentment and dissatisfaction. The famous Tollywood director SS Rajamouli, who respects JP and his ideals, is an active participant of the Surajyam movement. He mentioned that the chaos going on in Tollywood about casteism and regionalism is proving to be hindrance to the production of films.

can 'Yamudiki Mogudu' stop 'Okkadine' march to success?

Allari Naresh who turned Sudigadu is coming as 'Yamudiki Mogudu' next week. He is all set to confront 'Solo' star Nara Rohit who is marching towards success as 'Okkadine'. Yamudiki Mogudu is comedy king Allari Naresh’s upcoimg movie. His last release Sudigaadu was a big Box office hit and the respected actor is riding high on that success. This movie also features the fresh female actor Richa Panai opposite him. The theme of the movie is a socio-fantasy and the high-light of
this film is supposedly the 73 minutes of graphics. The director of this film is E Sattibabu and has been produced by Chanti Addala. The music, which has been composed by Koti, was recently released and is already popular with the music –lovers.

On the other hand, Okkadine is the come-back movie of the Tollywood actor Nara Rohit, who was last seen in 2011 in the movie Solo. The release of this movie has already been postponed a couple of times, allegedly due to financial issues. This film, which is being directed by Srinivas Raga, will see Nitya Menon
opposite Nara Rohit. The music-composer of this film is the singer and music director Karthik.Which of these two will manage to attract the movie-goers and garner profits, will be determined by the box-office collection.

No T issue at party convention

The Congress leaders are seriously thinking whether to discuss the Telangana issue or not at the State-Level Party Convention being held on December 16.

The issue came up for discussion at the meeting held on Thursday with the ministers and legislators of Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts at Gandhi Bhavan. PCC Chief Botcha Satyanarayana discussed with these leaders about the arrangements and organization of the Convention.

Botcha advised the party leaders to bring at least 500 party activists from each constituency. At this juncture, Jubilee Hills MLA P. Vishnuvardhan Reddy asked the PCC Chief what the leadership would tell the cadre at the convention about the Telangana issue.

Responding to Vishnuvardhan Reddy’s question, PCC Chief said the issue cannot be solved at the State level and an all-party meeting on Telangana issue would be held in New Delhi on December 28 to solve the issue. Botcha asked the leaders not to raise the Telangana issue in the party convention.

Later, Major Industries Minister Dr J Geetha Reddy and MLC Indrasen Reddy asked the PCC president what the leadership would say if someone raised the Telangana issue in the convention. Botcha replied that he would convince the leaders not to obstruct the meeting with ‘Jai Telangana’ or ‘Samaikyandhra’ slogans.

When MLC Yadava Reddy raised the issue of inviting two representatives from each party by the Union Home Ministry and that would send wrong signals to people about the party, Botcha said there was no need to discuss about the letters sent by the Union Home Ministry inviting two representatives from each party. He also said that he would bring this issue to the notice of the Union Home Ministry.

Vultures ruling the state

Sharmila, late chief minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s daughter and sister of YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Thursday alleged that the State was being ruled by vultures.

As a part of her ‘Maro Praja Prasthanam”, Sharmila addressed people at Ravirala village in Ranga Reddy district. Speaking on the occasion, Sharmila reminded that her father had launched several welfare schemes without increasing charges and taxes burdening the people. She alleged that Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy was creating hardship to the people by indiscriminately hiking the charges and taxes.

Zanjeer release date

The release date of Ram Charan's Bollywood debut movie Zanjeer has been locked as April 12, 2013. Official sources inform that Zanjeer will be hitting the screens as summer special and are confident that the movie shall woo all types of audience. Zanjeer has completed three schedules of shooting including the recent one in Hyderabad.

The movie is the remake on 1973 blockbuster movie, Zanjeer. Priyanka Chopra is playing the female lead in the movie. Apoorva Lakhia is the director of the movie which happens to be Ram Charan's Bollywood debut movie.The movie is being made in Telugu and Hindi and both the versions will have simultaneous release.

Kareena's honeymoon plans

Kareena Kapoor is enjoying the most special moments of her life post her marriage. However, she in hurry to wrap up her current commitments and catch up her honeymoon. The couple who started dating in 2007, married in the presence of close friends and family earlier this year.The couple had officially declared their intention to tie the knot in the beginning of 2012 after the release of their film 'Agent Vinod' in March.

Siddharth's movie in Political controversy

It is known that Siddharth and Shriya are acting in a Canadian-American film which is an adaptation of Salman Rushdie's 1981 novel of the same name. As soon as the premiere show of the movie got over, a controversy has broken out that the film which shows former prime minister Indira Gandhi in poor light should not have been screened in a Congress-ruled states.

The film's premiere show was screened on Monday night as part of a film festival in Kerala. The local Congress leaders have demanded the ban of the movie from the state. Shot mostly in Sri Lanka, the film revolves around the national emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi from June 1975 to March 1977. The director Deepa Mehta calls to see the movie in positive light and hopes that it will not be banned in India.

Anushka's hard work for Rudramma Devi

Looks like the entire team of Rudramma Devi 3D is determined to make the movie monumental in Telugu. Recently, the technical team had done a 3D trial shoot in Germany with the help of local experts and on the other side, Gunasekhar and art director Thota Tharani had visited historical monuments in Warangal to prepare the production designs. And now it is the turn of Anushka who will be playing the historical figure of Rani Rudramma Devi in the movie. The movie will go on to floors in February, 2013 and Anushka reportedly will undergo rigorous training for 45 days for her role in the movie. She will go through several historical books and movies and practice the body language of Rudramma Devi.

Guna will himself produce the movie and had roped in some top class technicians on to the project. Director Gunasekhar says that the film will be India’s first historical stereoscopic 3D film

Khushboo's saree controversy

Khushboo may have a temple in her name in Tamilnadu but that does not take away her from controversies. That too when she is wearing a saree having the images of Hindu gods. Going in to detail, the veteran actress is in Hyderabad for the audio function of Vetadu Ventadu. She wore a saree having the images of Hindu gods like Hanuman, Rama and others. This act of her had triggered the anger of a Hindu outfit, The Hindu Makkal Kachi. The organization had demanded her public apology for hurting the sentiments of Hindu population with her 'low' act of publicity.

However, Khushboo refused to heed to their demand and says the political party should have important agendas to concentrate on rather than following me everywhere. In response, Hindu Makkal Katchi has threatened to stage protest in case she denies to apologize.

CBI opposes interim bail to Mopidevi

CBI has opposed interim bail to former minister Mipidevi Venkata Ramana to go to Sabarimalai.

CBI court has on Thursday heard arguments on the bail petition filed by Mopidevi, charged of involvement in the disproportionate assets case against Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. While the former minister has stated that he has been going to Sabarimalai since the last 19 years and urged the court to give him bail as he has already taken Deeksha, CBI has argued that if he came out at this time, he would influence investigation.

Governor goes to Delhi to discuss Dharmana

Governor ESL Narasimhan has gone to New Delhi on Thursday morning.

It is learnt that he is going to discuss Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao issue with the senior leaders at Delhi.

It may be mentioned that the state cabinet has rejected permission to the CBI to prosecute Dharmana, named accused in the Vanpic case. The file is now with the governor for disposal.

Narasimhan is also likely to discuss about the Telangana issue in Delhi.
