Cong,TDP finds Operation Akarsh unstoppable

Late CM YS.Rajasekhar Reddy after winning 2009 elections started 'Operation Akarsh'. With him in power, he targeted TDP and TRS parties to increase his strength. Many MLAs and MPs along with cadre used to move closely at that time including PRP leader Chiranjeevi. Many used to comment after his sudden demise that had he been there for another 6 months TRS would have been wiped out and TDP decimated. But it did not happen and TRS emerged stronger whipping telangana sentiments while TDP is trying for resurgence.

However 'Operation Akarsh' left incomplete by YSR is in full swing now thanks to his son YS.Jagan for his party YSRCP. Try what may exodus from TDP and Cong is not stopping. Cong tried to stem with Cabinet expansion in which it has given utmost importance to state and TDP leader Babu undertook padayatra to rejenuvate party cadre. But it did not have any effect as TDP leader Karra Rajarao and his rival in Cong party Chintalapudi MLA Rajesh joining YSRCP.

Party sources say if it continues no one can save them from YSRCP. They say that at one time more than 50 MLAs used to support Jagan and due to some corrective steps his support waned. However not it again started to swell due to group politics. Wonder what steps TDP and COng will take to stem its outflow of leaders to YSRCP.
