Recently a book on the mega star Chiranjeevi - “Chiranjeevitham-Cine Prasthanam”- was released. The book was unveiled by Padma Vibhushan and Dada Saheb Falke award winner Akkineni Nageswara Rao who is also popular as Nata Samrat. Chiranjeevi's son Mega Power Star Ram Charan received the first copy. However while speaking his mind after launching the book, he said he envied Chiru and felt sad that he couldn't match him in dancing and enacting new scintillating steps. He said Though he was the pioneer in introducing new dancing moves, Chiru over took him and he could never compete with him. ANR lavished praised on Chiru branding him as an amazing dancer, calling him a ‘boneless wonder’,
Ram Charan or Cherry, as he is lovingly called by his fans, he narrated some conversations with his father. He narrated on instance when he asked his dad as to why his dad did not write a book about his life to which the humble Chiranjeevi always replied that one should not boast on of one-self. Cherry also revealed that many people wanted to write his biography and publish it. Many a times they came for Chiranjeevi’s permission to write and publish his biography. But the great actor always putdown all such offers and requests.On the release of this book, Cherry said that a book on his father had remained a dream and Pasupuleti Ramarao had finally fulfilled his dreams.
