Chandra Babu Naidu is looking for resurgence in TDP and in the process trying all means and tricks up in his sleeve. As a last resort he undertook 117days padayatra so that there will be complete turnaround in the party's fortunes in the run up for 2014 elections. Many people and analysts are also seen commenting that padayatra bought in lot of change in the perception of Chandrababu Naidu. In his earlier speeches he only used to say one proverb saying it is not important whether the cat is black or white, what matters more is whether it can catch rats or not.
Now after the padayatra, Chandrababu found out a startling truth about his 'Tammullu' in the party. In one of his speeches he said "During my Padayatra at one place an animal went around a lady who was working in a farm. Wherever she used to go, the animal followed her. Our party cadre is not having the trust of the animal towards party leadership". Listening to Babu's words one worker clapped his hands and seeing him, all others started clapping in unison. When PRP was formed TDP cadre jumped into it with foresight and now they are doing the same into YSRCP.One doesn't know whom was Babu targeting when he made that comment but many feel he revealed bitter truth about TDP party and its cadre.
