Chandra Babu seems to have realized that his arms and ammunition is done away with and now he has no other go but to seek mercy for his sins that hurt poor during his regime. After getting battered and bruised in all by elections that were held in the state after Cong came to power, things are looking bleak for him and his party. With Telangana on fire ignited by KCR and Seemandhra experiencing Jagan wave, Babu’s TDP is losing hopes of regaining power in the next elections due in 2014.
He tried all the tricks in his sleeve and did not leave any public issue of any small importance but people stopped believing him after his flip flop on farmers issues and Power cuts to name a few. A desperate Babu decided to undertake state wide tour for 117 days in the runup for elections and in his bid to gain confidence of people he said he will be punishing himself on his yatra for his sins at his age for the benefit of the people. He is saying he is deeply moved at the state of AP which made him to take tour of the state. It has to be seen how much people believe in Babu.
