Manchu Vishnu's charity to stunt dupes !
Manchu Vishnu is a qualified stunt expert and is also a member of Andhra Pradesh Cine Stunt Directors & Stunt Artistes Union. He recently donated 1 lakh rupees for the association to help the stunt dupes who is behind every daredevil stunt that adds to the popularity of the actors.
Viewers enjoy sitting on the edge of the chair and give the credit to the actors. But may times, these stunts will prove fatal for these stunt artists. He requested the association to use his donation to help the deprived artists, education and health of their family members.
Keeravani takes on the over action of Choreographers!
Legendary music director had launched a scathing attack on choreographers who are trying to have their full grip on songs these days. Speaking to a Newspaper interview, he said, "Song is not all about dance as they think. Choreographers' high headedness is the reason for it. Some directors and actors are giving too much of importance to these choreographers. It is not that I am against dance. I only oppose the opinion that song is all about dance".
He also opined that Telugu music is facing the danger of extinction with too much emphasis is given for dance than lyric and tune. He feels that blind people are the only ones who take the song in the true sense. Keeravani is going to give a musical performance to blind people in Ravindra Bharathi
Brahmi's Jaffa to Release Bollywood !
'Comedy King' Brahmanandam's Jaffa will be releasing in Bollywood and Tollywood simultaneously. Comedian turned director Vennela Kishore is writing and directing the Telugu version of "Jaffa". His friend and choreographer Sagar Das will direct the Bollywood version of Jaffa for which Kishore himself will be lending the story and screenplay. Sagar Das is a famous choreographer in Hindi and had supervised several dance numbers for many high budget films like Shahrukh Khan's "Chak De India"and Mani Ratnam's Raavan. This would be Sagar Das's first movie as director. We need to wait and see what impact Brahmanandam's Jaffa creates in Bollywood.
The movie will have simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil.
Esha Deol, Bharat Takhtani Tie the Knot !
Esha Deol tied the knot with Bharat Takhtani in a South Indian style wedding ceremony at Iskon temple this morning. Esha looked pretty in a red bridal sari by designer Neeta Lulla.
Takhtani was clad in a white sherwani, also designed by Neeta. In fact, Hema and Ahana also donned ensembles by the same designer.
The wedding ceremony was a private affair. "We want the wedding to be a comparatively private affair with relatives and close friends from both sides in attendance. It is not possible to have the wedding at our home. We chose a temple because it is a perfect place for matrimony," Hema Malini had said earlier.
Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Abhay Deol with girlfriend Preeti Desai, Manoj Kumar, Vinod Khanna and Vyjayanthimala made it to the wedding.
A lavish reception will be held tomorrow. B-Town biggies are expected to turn up to bless the newly-weds.
Srimannarayana shooting complete !
Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's new movie "Srimannarayana" had completed its foreign schedule. A fight and three songs were shot in this outing in Switzerland and Italy. With this the movie shooting is complete. The entire shooting of the movie is completed in under 70 days. The post production works of the movie will begin in July and the movie will hit the screens in August.
Parvati Melton and Isha Chawla are playing the female leads in the movie in which Balakrishna is playing the role of a journalist. ‘Samanyudu’ fame Ravi Chawali is directing the movie while Ramesh Puppala is producing the movie under Yellow Flowers banner. Chakri is composing the music.
Gabbar Singh 50 days All Time Records !
Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s latest movie ‘Gabbar Singh’ had achieved a phenomenal feat. The movie which had been creating wonderful records since the release day. The movie had completed the 50 days run in 306 centers. It also set a new record in Hyderabad city in terms of number of 50 days in direct centers. At this moment, the movie is the second biggest grosser in Telugu film industry. Here are some of the records of the movie.
1. Gabbar Singh is fastest movie to complete 1 crore gross in RTC 'X' Roads. Robo previously holds the record as it completed 1 crore gross in 53 days.
2. Gabbar Singh is the first movie to have continuous worth fulls in double theaters at RTC X Roads. Interestingly, these (Sandhya 70mm and Devi 70mm) are the biggest capacity theaters in the region.
3. Gabbar Singh now holds the highest number of 50 days centers in Hyderabad city.
4. Gabbar Singh is the first movie to complete 1 crore gross in a small town like Bhimavaram.
5. Gabbar Singh had collected 1 crore gross in Kukatpally in 47 days. The movie released in 3 centers here and completed 50 days run in 2 centers.
6. Gabbar Singh becomes the first movie to cross 1 crore share mark in Guntur city for the first time.This feat was achieved in just 46 days. The movie had completed 50 days in 2 centers in the city itself.
7. The movie has crossed the 2 crore gross mark in Prasadz multiplex which is a rare feat.
8. The movie has created numerous records in Ceeded too. The movie is now the biggest share movie in Tirupati and that too with out flat rates.
9. The movie became the first movie in Vizag city history to cross the 2.5 crore share mark.The movie had completed 50 days run in 6 centers here.
10. In East Godavari, the movie has two double theater 50 days centers in the form of Rajahmundry and Kakinada.
11. The movie becomes the first movie to complete 1 crore gross in S2 Multiplex, Nellore. The movie also has 175+ continuous house fulls in this theater.
