It is for nothing the proverb came that woman is the biggest threat to women. This seems to be true after watching the actions of women ministers in the Govt. Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy and Cinematography Minister DK.Aruna who are women did not heed to the requests of Brahmins and Brahmin associations for ban on film 'Women in Brahminism' which depicted brahmin women as prostitutes and call girls. This even after Cabinet Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu took initiative and dashed off letter to Home Minister and DGP requesting prompt action. Even the peaceful protests of the organisations are not visible to these women ministers.
Contrast is their style of functioning when telangana activists took to arms, damaged properties and burnt reels of the film 'Cameraman Gangato Rambabu'. She immediately constituted a committee and warned film makers not to hurt the sentiments of people. This shows their insensitiveness to women and proved once again only when there will be large scale violence they will take any action. This can be noticed in 'Cameraman Gangato Rambabu' film makers case as even after they volunteered to cut 12 scenes, Minister constituted the committee fully aware that it donot have any legal validity.Brahmins as such are meek and can not expect to create violence and as such there wont be any action on the film by these two women ministers.
