Shadow moves aside for Nayak!

Well, well things are getting bit easier for Ram Charan and Vinayak's Nayak as every other movie that was slated for Pongal are moving aside. First it was NTR's Baadshah, which was pushed to March 29th from January 11th. Now it is Venkatesh's Shadow, which is likely to be postponed from Pongal slot.

If the buzz is to be believed Shadow will release for Maha Shiva Ratri as the makers are not interested to clash with other biggies. Shadow was supposed to release for January 11, but the buyers are reluctant to release it amidst tough competition. Venkatesh's Bodyguard suffered minor losses as it was pitted against Businessman. Had Bodyguard released some other time, it would have done better say the trade circles.

Taking a cue out of it, Shadow makers are opting for a safe release as this is a much bigger project involving big money. Another reason for this postponement is SVSC, in which Venky played one of the leads. SVSC is slated for Dec 21st release and it will certainly aim for Pongal holiday crowds. So Venkatesh can't compete with his own film. Whatever the reason be, Shadow is out of Pongal race for sure.
