Following the protests in Telangan and the violent mob attack of Puri Jagannadh's office, Puri Jagannath had decided to edit the objectionable scenes in the movie. Puri had agreed to delete the 'offensive' scenes. However, he claimed that the film was not made in support of any political party.
Puri said that the film was made with good intentions but yet if some felt that their sentiments were hurt by the film, the offensive portions would be forthwith removed. The movie team had chopped off about 32 minutes from the movie which is reportedly the major highlight scenes of the movie. We will have to see how the movie performance will be affected due to this cuts.
